This course provides an introduction to systems engineering, which enables the design, development, and management of complex systems across their lifecycle.

Students explore fundamental concepts such as requirements engineering, system architecture, risk management, and modeling and simulation.

Through real-world case studies, students apply systems-thinking methodologies to engineering challenges in aerospace, defense, information technology (IT), and health care.
