Elementary Spanish I

This course is an introductory course in Spanish.

The four skills—listening, speaking, reading and writing—are covered, although particular emphasis is placed on speaking and listening.

At the end of the semester, students are able to speak about themselves and their environment; to introduce themselves and other people; to ask questions and provide information about people, objects, and places; to talk about their daily activities and how to organize their time; as well as to express what their present obligations and needs are and what plans they have for the future.
