Human Resource Management
This course treats human resources (HR) as a core strategic lever rather than an administrative function.
We focus on aligning human capital strategy with organizational goals across the employee life cycle, including workforce planning, talent acquisition, engagement, performance management, learning and development, succession planning, and rewards.
Emphasis is placed on designing integrated global people programs that support growth, scalability, resilience, and effective risk management (regulatory, reputational, and operational).
Using current cases and applied projects, students address real organizational challenges while learning to use human resources information system (HRIS) platforms, people analytics, artificial intelligence (AI)-enabled tools, and digital collaboration systems to inform talent decisions.
Core themes include evidence-based HR, leadership and team effectiveness, coaching and feedback cultures, continuous learning and re-skilling, the changing world of work, and equity, diversity, inclusion, and belonging.
Through interactive lectures and project-based work, students learn to design and implement global human capital strategies that deliver measurable, long-term value.
