Introduction to Instructional Design

Build Engaging Learning Experiences Across Education, Corporate, and Government Sectors No Prerequisite | 10 Weeks Format: Asynchronous Online with Instructor Feedback and Guidance Throughout As an entry point course in the Instructional Design Certificate, Introduction to Instructional Design focuses on the basic principles, models, and theories of instructional design and provides an overview of the instructional design process.

The application of instructional design in professional contexts, including K-12 and higher education, as well as corporate, industrial, and governmental settings, will be introduced.

You will gain the skills to manage your instructional design and teaching tools while developing strategies to address varied types of learning preferences and needs.

You will explore how diverse theories of learning apply to your profession as an educator and how they relate to learning and growth within your daily life.
