Social Psychology
Examine processes that occur both within and outside ourselves as we interact with others in a complex social world.
Some of the topics covered include social cognition, attitudes, impression formation, social influence, persuasion, conformity, obedience, stereotyping, prejudice, interpersonal attraction, prosocial behavior and aggression.
Major goals of this course are threefold: (1) to critically examine social psychological theories and processes (2) within an empirical context and (3) to apply them to your life and to real-world events.
