Introduction to Statistics
<p>This course provides a foundational understanding of data analysis, probability, statistical reasoning, and quantitative decision-making in real-world applications.
Students will learn core concepts including descriptive statistics, probability distributions, sampling methods, confidence intervals, and hypothesis testing, while developing practical skills in interpreting and communicating data.
The curriculum emphasizes the use of statistical models, correlation and regression analysis, as well as data visualization to make evidence-based conclusions across fields such as business, healthcare, psychology, and the social sciences.
By the end of the course, learners will have developed proficiency in reading statistical notation, understanding sources of variability, and evaluating the reliability and validity of data-driven findings.</p>
