PSYCH XBW1

General Psychology

Psychology is the scientific study of behavior.

In a sense, each of us is a psychologist; we are curious, we explore our surroundings, we observe ourselves and others, and we try to understand and explain our behavior.

Psychology is a unique science; it presents challenges not found in the other sciences.

In this course, you focus on psychology's study of human subjects and discover how to remain objective as you learn to interpret human behavior.

Get an introduction to the principal areas, problems and concepts of psychology, including topics such as development, learning, perception, emotion, personality, stress and pathology.

Then, demonstrate your understanding of the course topics through a research paper and final exam.
