Capstone: Writing the Script: Film and Television

This course is meant to follow CREA E-597a , in which students developed the dramatic world of their projects and wrote the opening pages of their screenplay or television pilot episode.

In this workshop, students continue to write, building on the work begun in the precapstone semester and producing a substantial new section of a screenplay or pilot episode.

Students must produce a minimum of 50 pages of new work.

At the end of the semester, students submit the treatment or series outline and all pages developed during both the precapstone and capstone semesters.
