Motivation

Motivation is an internal process that drives behavior.

Understanding motivation and self-determination theory is essential for affecting change in ourselves and in others.

In this course, students learn theories and empirical research regarding motivation, as well as consider how to apply what they learn to a variety of contexts ranging from improving workplace productivity, enhancing learning in school, changing personal habits, job crafting and understanding the behaviors of others.

This course also teaches students how to improve intrinsic motivation to drive employee engagement and improve goal setting and attainment, as well as assist managers in motivating remote workers.
