Introduction to Research in Psychopathology
This course is designed to make students familiar with the fundamental concepts, methods, and ethics of conducting research in the field of psychopathology.
Students gain an understanding of the research process, starting from the development of a research question to the articulation of hypotheses, methods, and data analysis.
During the course, students engage with both classic and contemporary studies, critically evaluating methods and findings in the domain of psychopathology research.
A cornerstone of the course is the development of a group research proposal on a topic related to psychopathology, aimed at offering students hands-on experience in conceptualizing and planning a research study.
