Introduction to Medical Coding

This course is the introductory foundation of the coding industry.

The fundamentals of coding will be communicated by building upon the knowledge, principals and guidelines required in order to be successful in the medical coding field.

A series of web-based sessions will provide an overview of medical coding, medical billing, coding terminology/nomenclature, medical record documentation and review the different coding work environments.
