Occupational Safety & Security for Health Professionals

This course is specifically designed for general healthcare personnel in healthcare or healthcare-related organizations.

Students will receive a broad, comprehensive exposure to safety and health requirements in the healthcare setting.

They will be introduced to general safety and health program requirements, the framework of an effective and comprehensive safety and health program, and receive an introduction to specific workplace hazards and methods of hazard control one may find in different healthcare occupations.

Upon completion of this course students will be able to apply this knowledge to healthcare workplace settings they may encounter.
