Health: A Positive Psychology Perspective

Why does it seem that some people are so resilient and content? This course looks at psychological and physical health from the perspective of positive psychology.

The major focus is on mindfulness theory and its relationship to stress and coping, illness and wellness, decision-making, and placebos.

The medical model, the biosocial model, and a unified mind-body model are compared to examine their role in becoming mindful and thus healthier, happier, and less stressed.
