Premium Studio: The Loveliness Model

Premium Studios are UCLA Extension’s immersive learning experience for professionals seeking more than a traditional course.

Intentionally limited in size, each studio allows participants to work directly with internationally recognized practitioners through intensive studio sessions, collaborative discussions, and personalized feedback.

Whether advancing a career, exploring a new discipline, or reconnecting with a creative practice, participants gain expert insights while building meaningful connections with fellow professionals.

This seminar introduces Loveliness Value, a Scandinavian methodology rooted in lived experience that places the essential qualities of a place at the center of the design process, before form, function, or program.

Participants will explore how human-centered architecture creates opportunities to enhance the way we live, and learn how to identify and translate the qualities that make a place meaningful into architecture, interiors, and lasting value.
