Civil Litigation II
Learn the specific tools a litigation paralegal is required to master.
The second of a two course series (follow-up to "Civil Litigation I") , in this course you will take a case study and plan it, from filing a complaint to preparing it for trial.
Participants will also organize a case for trial, learning how to summarize depositions, prepare joint disposition conference reports and organize information and documents.
Additional topics include arbitration, settlement and mediation, as well as the litigation paralegal's role in pre-trial case preparation, trial and post-trial activities.
Required Prerequisite: This course must be taken AFTER the successful completion of Civil Litigation I (LAW-40018).
Students MUST completed both Civil Litigation I and II with the same Instructor.
