Educational Leadership in Dual Language Immersion

All K-12 Dual Language educators and administrators need to be aware of how a Dual Language program works, how each language is developed, and why they are beneficial to student learning and growth.

Topics for this course include effective teaching strategies, tools for success, teacher and administrator responsibilities, administrator role and communication, parent communication, classroom organization, managing two sets of students (50/50) or 2 languages in the same class (90/10), and collaborating with a partner teacher (50/50) and/or grade level team (50/50 and 90/10) to achieve success for all.
