Advanced Curriculum Design for the Online Classroom

This class examines elements of effective instructional design for the distance learning environment.

Students will learn how to create tailored instructional models based on course objectives, target audience, subject matter content, class management and assessment methods.

This course will study the design of effective, reliable assessment techniques and evaluation models for online teaching.

The course is comprised of three major phases of the design process (Analysis, Design, and Development) that guide students through converting or developing course material for an online course.
