Public Relations Playbook: Media, Messaging, and Reputation

This introductory workshop offers a practical guide to the tools and tactics of public relations, from crafting compelling stories to managing reputational risk.

Students will learn how to shape messages, interact with journalists, and navigate interviews with clarity and confidence.

We will look at real-world PR successes and missteps, learn how to garner media attention (without buying ads), and study how organizations respond when their reputation is on the line—all while exploring how public narratives are shaped and challenged.

Through interactive exercises, mock interviews, and class discussions, students will gain hands-on experience and receive real-time feedback on shaping the public presence of their personal brand, business, or product.

Whether you're promoting a company, a cause, or yourself, you will leave the course with the skills to plan campaigns and build trust with your audience.

Advanced-level proficiency in spoken English is required.
