Work Smarter: Systems for Managing Complexity

You are not overwhelmed because you are incapable.

You are overwhelmed because no one taught you how to manage complexity.

Many managers are promoted for their expertise, then handed meetings, inboxes, deadlines, and people without a clear operating system.

This course provides one.

Drawing on proven approaches to productivity and time management, including the Eisenhower Matrix, Stephen Covey’s priority framework, and David Allen’s Getting Things Done, you will learn to design your week, run meetings that drive decisions, delegate with clarity, and use digital tools and AI more intentionally to reduce friction and sharpen focus.

Through lectures, real-world scenarios, applied exercises, and weekly assignments, you will build a personalized system that adapts as demands change.

Emphasis is placed on creating sustainable habits and intentional approaches to work that improve effectiveness without simply increasing hours.
