Beginning Spanish: Part IV

From love and friendship to art and food, this course will make interesting topics accessible to students with a basic background in Spanish.

Aided by scaffolded instruction, which progresses from more familiar to newer material, students will discuss acclaimed short films, news articles, and short stories, increasing their oral proficiency as they gain an appreciation for the depth and breadth of cultures in the Spanish-speaking world.

By the end of the course, students will be able to discuss substantial topics with greater ease and sophistication.

Students must complete SPA 03: “Beginning Spanish: Part III” or have comparable experience prior to enrolling in this course.
