Lactation Education Refresher
20-Hour Asynchronous Online Course The Lactation Education Refresher (LER) is designed for lactation professionals and healthcare providers who have already completed a 45-hour lactation training course and need continuing education hours.
Who Should Enroll? - International Board Certified Lactation Consultants (IBCLCs) - Certified Lactation Consultants (CLCs) - Lactation Educators - Other healthcare providers working in maternal-child health CERP Credits IBCLCs who successfully complete the course will earn: - 5 E-CERPs - 15 L-CERPs Course Highlights - Evidence-based curriculum using current best practices - Covers topics from prenatal care through weaning - Features expert guest speakers - Fully online and self-paced (asynchronous) Enrollment Requirements Students must be accepted into the LER.
The simple application process includes: - Uploading proof of current credential (IBCLC, CLC, etc.), or - Proof of completion of a 45-hour lactation training course Recommendation: Enroll every three years to stay current with the latest research and best practices.
