French for Communication II

We will cover chapters 4, 5, and 6 in the textbook, continuing where we left off in French 1.

We will continue to study the present-tense conjugation; we will add a few new verbs to the list of irregular ones you already know, and will widen our focus from the present tense to include “future proche”.

You will be able to discuss a much broader range of experiences and events in French.

You will also be handling more complex sentences.

Developing your capacity to communicate verbally in French will remain our main goal.

Conversations will focus primarily on various activities of everyday life including hobbies, holidays & vacations, family and relationships, home and food (le partitif).

The material covered will expand the span of what you will able to express.
