Training and Development

Offered by UC San Diego Division of Extended Studies, the Training and Development course delves into the critical role of designing, delivering, and evaluating programs to meet organizational needs in the field of Business & Management.

Students will learn to assess training priorities, define learning objectives, select instructional methods, and apply evaluation techniques.

This course also covers strategies to overcome resistance to change, build and justify training budgets, evaluate vendor offerings, and measure the impact of training on organizational performance and results.

By the end, participants will gain the skills to design frameworks for effective Talent and Development initiatives and apply systematic approaches like the ADDIE model to enhance organizational learning.
