Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)

Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) is taking major traction in systems engineering to improve and facilitate development and delivery of products.

MBSE domain models as the primary means of exchange of requirements, information and feedback, as opposed to the traditional document-centric systems engineering.

This course starts with an introduction to digital engineering and MBSE.

You will learn to identify the core tenets of MBSE and how to implement a model-based systems engineering approach.

We will look at the set of models as the system’s data repository, how to query features and capabilities, exchange information, analyze models, and verify requirements.

We will cover MBSE tools such as MSOSA, Rhapsody, etc.

In this course you will also learn about MBSE languages and frameworks.

We will do a deep dive into SysML with case studies and examples.

The course concludes with the building of a robust MBSE methodology tailored to project needs and MBSE practical applications.
