AI Toolsets and Workflows for Creative Production

For creative industry professionals and students who want to move beyond experimenting with individual AI tools and start building production-ready systems for filmmaking/television/creator economy production.

The focus pipeline approach, connecting text, image, video, and audio generation tools into modular, repeatable workflows that hold up in a professional context.

Each session introduces a new layer of the production stack, from prompting and image generation through physical performance capture, start/mid/end frame development, compositing and scene revision, upscaling, audio production, and process automation.

Students will chain together APIs into repeatable, consistent, Comfy UI workflows, adding each new tool covered.

The course draws on industry-standard tools used in working production environments today, and every concept is grounded in a core principle: While AI toolsets enable enhanced creative capabilities, human judgment, taste, storytelling intent, and hybrid filmmaking (physical and virtual) are what make the work audience worthy.

The course is designed for writers, directors, producers, actors, editors, animators, and creative technologists who are ready to create tangible, distributable content with machine learning tools, not just experiment with them.

No prior AI experience required.

Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud and basic AI image or video tools is helpful but not expected.

The course culminates in an original 30 to 60 second produced short film, built using the tools and techniques developed throughout the term and reviewed in the final session.
