Planting Design for the Home Gardener

This course covers the principles of design for the residential garden using a combination of plant materials and built elements.

Instruction includes spatial, functional, climatic, and visual analysis of the site.

It also explores the design process for laying out the garden; choosing site-appropriate plants; providing structural definition; and producing desired moods, vistas, and aesthetic effects.
