Intermediate Python

This course will introduce students to basic computer science knowledge to get more efficient with python programming.

Topics will include recursion, linear data structures (arrays, stacks, queues, linked lists, doubly linked lists), trees and graphs, maps and hash tables.

Students will also learn the basics of object-oriented programming using Python classes.

The course will focus on data-science applications for these concepts.

By the end of the course, students will be able to think computationally when solving data-related problems and assess and develop algorithms.

Students will also be able to be self-sufficient taking on more advanced concepts and advanced courses.

Prerequisites: I&C SCI X426.64 Introduction to Python Programming.
