Looking at Contemporary Art

This course offers students the opportunity to engage with contemporary art, as well as with each other.

Our conversations include materials, perception and interpretation of abstract, figurative, and performative projects, while considering the time and place of its making.

The schedule includes field trips and classroom meetings that revisit the explorations and deliberations discovered and discussed on the field trips.

Students must sign a waiver before participating.

Field trips are within the Los Angeles area.
