Plant Materials for Landscape Use

This course presents the characteristics of up to 150 plants selected for their garden use and seasonal interest in the Southern California area.

Topics include trees; shrubs, ground covers; vines; and herbaceous plants, emphasizing their landscape use, appropriate placement, horticultural care and ornamental features.

A course project is required for all credit students.
