Digital Presentation I: Photoshop/Illustrator

This comprehensive, hands-on course introduces designers to digital design tools.

The course begins with an overview of architectural and interior design concepts; students also review client presentations and see how they were created.

Students learn why the use of these professional tools is essential to the creative process of design and presentation production and are introduced to using the computer for drawing, illustration and layout.

Fundamentals of layout, typographic design, scanning and image-enhancement software are covered, and students present projects in class.

Software applications covered include Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
