Looking at Contemporary Art

This course offers students the opportunity to engage with contemporary art, as well as with each other.

Our conversations include materials, perception, and interpretation of abstract, figurative and performative projects, while considering the time and place of its making.

The schedule includes three field trips as well as two classroom meetings that revisit the explorations and deliberations discovered and discussed on the field trips.

Students must sign a waiver before participating.

Field trips are within the Los Angeles area.
