Public Personas

This course is an acting workshop that explores the myriad techniques toward the invention of solo performance texts.

Students learn how to portray both themselves onstage, as well as a variety of characters of their own imagining, using a theatrical techniques such as theater games, improvisation, memoir, and status shifts.

This is a great beginner course not only for those interested in acting or writing, but for any professional who must present themselves to the public and be in the spotlight.
