Intercultural and Global Competence

In an increasingly interconnected world, the ability to navigate across differences is critical for successfully interacting and connecting with people shaped by different values, beliefs, and experiences, whether as a leader, educator, employee, policymaker, or global citizen.

This course provides an in-depth exploration of the theory, research, and practical applications of intercultural competence in different contexts, including a focus on intercultural micro-strategies.

The course draws on global perspectives, with particular emphasis on frameworks that promote intercultural competence within organizations, communities, and educational settings.

Participants also engage with real-world examples and challenges related to migration, globalization, and social justice.

This course is designed for students and professionals who aspire to become leaders in a globalized world, equipped with the intercultural tools to address pressing challenges.
