Digital Media Design Precapstone

This course helps students develop academically strong, individual or team-based capstone proposals.

It is mandatory for candidates in the Master of Liberal Arts, digital media design, who wish to register for the <a href="/search/?p=DGMD%20E-599" data-action="result-detail" data-group="code:DGMD E-599" class="notoffered" title="This course is not being offered in the selected term.">DGMD E-599</a> in the coming fall term.

Students develop a capstone proposal through workshopping, collaboration, research, and working with industry partners.

They receive guidance on refining project proposals, building the domain knowledge necessary in their selected area, and conducting user research.

By the end of the course, each team submits a detailed capstone proposal, including project rationale, literature reviews, scope, target audience/user journeys, timeline, and competitor analysis.
