Marine Life and Ecosystems of the Sea

This course explores the life history and adaptations of marine life and the ecosystems of the sea.

Emphasis is placed on understanding the fragility and resilience of marine systems in the face of anthropogenically driven perturbations such as habitat fragmentation, elevated sea surface temperature, non-native species, nonsustainable fishing practices, and increased global tourism.
