Building Interpersonal Skills: An Experiential Workshop
This course is a combination of T-group (“T” is for training) and class exercises with a focus on building and sustaining relationships.
T-group is an experiential way of learning about yourself and others that is the cornerstone of the flagship “Interpersonal Dynamics” course at the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
We’ll work in small groups, each with a facilitator and up to 12 participants.
There will also be presentations and exercises with the full class.
This is real-time, hands-on learning with opportunities to practice effective interpersonal skills and increase awareness of your feelings, perceptions, and behaviors.
Wisdom in groups can help uncover aspects of yourself that previously were unseen.
You'll hone your ability to listen fully, give and receive honest feedback, and express yourself more authentically.
The practice you get during this course in building trusted relationships can be applied to friends and family and at work.
You'll discover and practice skills to help you effectively communicate in a diversity of environments.
Students must commit to attending the entirety of the first three sessions and expect to participate actively.
Advanced-level proficiency in spoken English is also required.
