Law in International Business
This course introduces international business law through an examination of "real world" case studies and contemporary legal problems via a nontechnical approach to the law.
Topics include legal rules, contracts, international arbitration, and the impact of nationalism and cultural attitudes on law and international affairs; regulation of international trade; protection of intellectual property, trademarks, and patents; and the legal ramifications of regional and economically integrated trade organizations, including the World Trade Organization and other multinational trade bodies.
